Deep Deadly Dungeons is a roguelike made for the fbtk.net Rogue Compo by Rick Clark (aka rdc). As the roguelike-freak I am, all roguelikes are interesting for me and a roguelike made with Qbasic or
Freebasic is even more interesting. Rick's roguelike is the first one (made using Qbasic/Freebasic) that is worth playing. And not just worth playing, this roguelike is really good.
So, either you're a freak like me or not, download this piece of history and experience what real gameplay is all about!
This is a ascii mini-game starring everyone's favorite action game hero, Jocke the Beast. You have to direct him to eat all the food on screen (boy is he hungry!) while blowing up monsters with bombs. Yes, Jocke has bombs. Use the bombs to blow the baddies up, and gobble down all the grub to go to the next level.
The idea is you play a ticked off Jocke on a murderous rampage until you get bored or taken out by the police. Now, I won't presume to know what Jocke's real life looks like or if he really gets this upset, so I'm taking creative license in the game. I made it without his knowledge, so please don't call the cops on him.
The contents on this website may be downloaded and distributed freely over the web. Jocke The Beast will not take any money, gifts or other valuable things from people who download my games. The only thing I accept is credit and maybe a greeting, if I earn it. If you have any questions, complains or just want to say hi, mail me.  Page design by Jofers, who, unlike Jocke, will gladly take your gifts, valuables and possibly your children if there is profit involved.
