2003-06-06 - I've decided to put Mordor [ON HOLD] from now on, since neither me or Jonge has been working on this project for a long time. It's not canceled but the development is put on hold.
The fourth game in my Middle Earth Tale. collection is right now being developed. I can promise that it will be improved in many ways, more fun to play then the others and even more good-looking (if I manage to create all the tiles). As the title reveals,Mordor will take your hero through the dark land of Mordor and it's domains. will not give away the story,yet... The story is finished (had to remake it twice)but I have some mayor technical problems to solve before I can release the game.
Jonge is working a a complete remake of Mordor's graphic engine. It looks good and the final result will include pixel x pixel scroll, animated tiles, walking npc's and alot more. Jonge has also made alot of graphic for Mordor (right now over 120 tiles).
The battle system is beeing redone.Won't reveal anything yet,but it will be very different from my other Tolkien styled rpg's.
So far Mordor includes: Pixel*pixel scroll,animated sprites (background & effects),3-tiles-per-direction hero,advanced scripting (npc's,triggers,maps and doors),walking npcs,about 120 tiles,7 midi songs.
